Summertime Flashback

Our summer was pretty awesome despite lots of rainy days. 

We went to the zoo.

We played in the park.

 We enjoyed some serious dress-up and had a few photo shoots on the porch. 

I couldn't leave out this cutie.

 And we loved visiting Krispy Kreme in the morning. 

We napped pretty intensely on some road trips

and immediately fell in love with our newest neighbor, Jackson.

 We also loved a visit from our tallest neighbor, Mr. Trippe! 

 It's pretty hard to believe this tall fellow was once a little 7th grader in my class!

An Oklahoma Start to Summer: Highlights!

The littles and I boarded a westbound plane on June 4 for a couple of weeks in my favorite state. We enjoyed time with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends! A joyful reunion took place at Tip's house between these sweet, sweet kiddos and these phenomenal ladies.

You would not believe the Act of Congress it took to get this picture! Look at all those babies! Tip and her crew and Mia and (some of) her crew! 

We had a fun surprise one day when a big firetruck stopped by Captain's house.

 And CPD pushed some buttons (and the horn) 

 What a treat! 

One of the best treats of our summer was spending a little time with this precious girl: 

Little Lula! 

Susannah is completely in love with her! 

Our trip included a special day for our family...

This sweet Captain had a birthday- 

and this sweet man and I celebrated our 6th anniversary! 

 We spent our anniversary in Houston celebrating the wedding of one of my best friends!

Coleman's 2nd Birthday

Our sweet little man turned 2 on May 27! His birthday falls so close to Memorial Day that we have had the great privilege of watching a hot air balloon festival as part of his birthday festivities! Captain and Nana traveled back to Greenville for Coleman's celebration and we had such a great time together. 

 My sweet 2-year-old! 

 On Coleman's birthday some neighbors and friends joined us for cupcakes and playtime.

These 2 gentlemen love some snuggle time. When Captain and Nana were here for Susannah's birthday, they were pretty much inseparable.
