Oooooklahoma Christmas

My goal was to get all these Christmas photos posted before January ended. Obviously we didn't quite make it to that goal :) Here is a recap of our Oklahoma trip in photos.
There was A LOT of car-riding. Sadly, little Coleman wasn't always this happy!
C and S LOVED the Oklahoma Science Museum (aka Omniplex). They enjoyed checking out all the different exhibits.

Both kids really loved this little gymnastics area. There were some really big kids doing tricks, but C and S got right in the mix and rocked some bars and balance beam!

Coleman and I tried out the unbelievably long slide. It was a little overwhelming!

Coleman was so enamored with the fish tank.
Back at Captain's house, we did a lot of block building with awesome new blocks from Jasper, Aunt Laura, and Uncle SJ.

Susannah helped Nana and Chelsea in the kitchen.
and enjoyed some videos with SJ and Jasper.
Of course, one of the very best parts of our trip was meeting this little beauty! Louisa Katherine Roberts. Isn't she precious?!?! And, that hair!!!! Susannah was in heaven with her new little cousins and talks about them all the time.
Proud parents Ibby and Uncle Luke :)

Fun cousin bathtime!
Sweet Anna Catherine Busch arrived just after 2013 began. Susannah LOVED having 2 babies to admire, although I know she is more than ready for them to be able to play dress-up!
Four of my favorite girls right here! These new mamas were so fun to watch. They are both naturals and looking SO BEAUTIFUL!

Coleman also enjoyed getting to know his cousins. When given the chance, he would pop down right the babies and stare and gently touch their little heads. We didn't let him get too close though :)
S enjoyed many long talks with Captain during our time in OK. He was always a captive audience.

More Christmas pics coming!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning!

Christmas Eve was such a special time. We read the Christmas story and unwrapped a few gifts.

Susannah donned a beautiful pajama combination :)

On Christmas morning stockings were full and presents were everywhere!

Every costume was a hit and Coleman loved his truck. We had a hard time packing it up in time to make our flight. We knew the snow in OKC might mean a delay in Houston, so we were thrilled when the police woman offered C and S some candy canes. What a delicious treat! Between the candy canes,  ice cream and several hot wheel races, we had a very enjoyable Christmas Day in the Houston airport!

Our Christmas Day ended in Oklahoma with family and we were ready to keep celebrating the most wonderful time of the year! And, as the next couple of posts will show, we did just that!

Christmas in Carolina

I know, I know, Christmas was almost a month ago! Life has been pretty crazy since then, and we are finally settled back in to normal life. The poor old blog was seriously neglected as we welcomed 2013. We left G-ville on Christmas Day and had a surprisingly good time hanging out in the Houston airport :) More pictures to come. As Christmas approached, this guy moved all around our house and provided some silly entertainment. Coleman is still looking for him some mornings.
This is my favorite picture of him. It takes a pretty tough elf to ride a ferocious tiger!
Mimi, Pop and Emily came for an early Christmas and helped us kick off the Christmas weekend.
There were lots of fun presents to open and our kiddos were loving every minute of it!!!

Susannah loves her new sleeping bag from Emi.

She broke it in right away!
S and I made these nativity scenes (pinterest -inspired). She was so proud!

S and C made Mimi & Pop some coffee mugs with their handprints to go with their new coffee maker.
C got a new bus. He has his tiger shoved in it here and is still holding it and sucking his fingers. Boy is crazy!

Silly time with Pop and Suz.

Loved Christmas in SC!
